I am loving this challenge!! It's really getting me to find time to craft, which I don't always do. I tend to come up with excuses and put it off. Fortunately, the hubs went on a long weekend fishing trip - I know, fishing in November in the midwest is just crazy! But it did give me the time to just set everything out on my kitchen table and craft all weekend without worrying about cleaning up lol. This challenge really has my creative juices flowing! And that makes me sooo HAPPY!
So, here's my card for day number 7 ...
This one was so fun to put together! If you like to color, this is for YOU! I'll be honest, I don't normally like to color lol. But this one was really therapeutic for me. It was nice to just relax and color with these Stampin' Blends.
I used the stamp set Timeless Tropical (one of my favorites!), the coordinating dies, and the colors Memento Tuxedo Black, Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight.
Here's a tip for you if you're coloring ... when you use the dies to cut out the images, sometimes you discover that they cut a little off. And some dies leave a white (or whatever colored paper you're using) edge around the image. So, I just colored the edges after cutting them. I think it makes it look so much better, don't you? Plus you don't have to worry about coloring outside the lines lol ...
