Gertrude got a makeover!

When my dad passed away last year, I took my moms goose while we were cleaning out his house. My mom had passed away 6 years prior, and she really loved this goose. She had a whole box of different outfits that she loved dressing her up in!
So, I took the goose, named her Gertrude, and put her on my front porch. I also took the box of outfits and I’ve been dressing her up for the different seasons and holidays.
Well, I finally got around to giving her a much needed makeover!

I started off by wiping her down. Then using a cement filler/patch, I filled in all of the little holes, chips and big crack on her neck …

Once that dried, I sanded her down and began painting her …

She looks SOOOO much better!!

I even made her a new outfit!! I used my Cricut and my new Cricut Easy Press 2 to design, cut out and iron on the logo and name on the back (Yup, we're Southsiders!!) …

I love her so much!! She turned out so cute!

Suuuuper Simple Card 😍

Here’s a super simple card I made. It was so simple that I made a bunch of them! 🤣

First, I started off with Stampin’ Up! Cardstock. I used Gorgeous Grape cut in half at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2. I then scored it down the center at 4 1/4 to make it easier to fold. I also used Whisper White, cut at 5 1/4 x 4 …

Then I took a piece of plain printer paper and tore it in half ...

I used the torn printer paper as a mask over the Whisper White cut Cardstock. I knew I wanted to stamp a sentiment, so I made sure I left enough room on the bottom. Using the Gorgeous Grape ink, I inked up the Buffalo Check Stamp  …

Once I stamped the image, I removed the printer paper and stamped the sentiment from Butterfly Gala Stamp Set …

Then, using Stampin' Up's Snail Adhesive, I centered it over the front of the card base and adhered it. That's it, done!

Like I said - Sooo Simple!! It was so easy, that I made several in other colors!! I was able to make a bunch of them in minutes!!
