Today, I'm keeping it very simple. All you need is A SIP … Adhesive, Stamps, Ink, Paper. We're doing simple stamping today and this stamp set is perfect for it! Here are the supplies that I'm using to create this card …

I'm starting with the Whisper White cardstock and Petal Pink Ink. This stamp set is using Two-Step stamping, which means that you use 2 stamps layered on top of each other to create an image. I started with the larger flower and stamped randomly around the page. My image stamped a little blotchy, but that's okay since it will be covered with the second layer …

I used the second flower stamp and stamped over each of the flowers. I didn't stamp off or change colors. The color looks a little different because of the stamp textures. Once the card is completely dry, you'll see the result …

Next, I used the Smoky Slate ink to stamp the centers of the flowers and the sentiment. I used the ink full strength without stamping off …

I decided to add some leaves to fill in the background a bit. I used the Smoky Slate ink, but this time stamped off once on my work surface to lighten the color …

Then I added adhesive to the back and attached it to the Smoky Slate cardstock. Then I added adhesive to the back of that and attached it to the Petal Pink card base …

That's it, card complete! I really love the way this card turned out. I like the way the stamps make the ink look different and shows off the different textures. And who doesn't love Pink & Gray??!!
