#30DayCardChallenge - Day 21

Happy, Happy Sunday!!
I hope you’re having a fantabulous day! I just finished the card for Day 21 of this challenge. I came across the ribbon recently and forgot I had it lol. As soon as I seen it, I knew I wanted to use it! I’m showing how to create a fun background. This technique is great if you’re limited on DSP or background stamps, or if you just want a quick and easy background!
Here are the supplies that I’m using today …
I'm using one of Stampin' Up!s acrylic blocks. You can use any size you'd like, but I'm using the square one Block D. I tapped it onto the ink pad, making sure to get complete coverage, then carefully pressed it onto the cardstock. I let it sit for a moment to absorb, then lifted straight up so it didn't smear …
It's going to take a few minutes to completely dry, so I set that aside and grabbed a scrap piece of Basic Black cardstock. I stamped the butterflies with Whisper White ink ...

I let it dry for a few moments, then lined up the punch and punched them out. I'm only using the large butterfly for this card …

Since the card front was dry, I took a piece of the ribbon, positioned it across the front, then wrapped it around to the back and secured it with tape …

Then I took a small piece of ribbon and tied a knot around the first ribbon and trimmed the edges. Then I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink …

I added adhesive to the back and attached it to the Basic Black cardstock, then attached that to the Cherry Cobbler card base …
Attach 1/2 of a Dimensional to the back of the butterfly and attach it to the card front …

Attach a piece of Whisper White cardstock to the inside, and the card is complete ...
Here is the list of supplies that I used for this card. If you'd like to purchase any of these products, please visit my shopping website by clicking HERE

Thank you for stopping by!! Enjoy your Sunday!!
