30 Days of Thanks - Day 19

 Happy Fridayyyy!!! Here's Card 19 …

This card was for another team challenge. Well, actually 2 challenges lol. Our team leader gave us a sketch challenge and a color challenge and I decided to use both in 1 card. The colors I used are Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Old Olive and Rich Razzelberry. I stamped each image with the same ink as the cardstock ... Crushed Curry ink on Crushed Curry cardstock, etc. Then I cut each image with the coordinating dies and put it all together ...

Thanks for stopping by today! If you'd like to recreate this card, you can find all of these supplies on my Stampin' Up! shopping website.

30 Days of Thanks - Day 18

Card number 18 … I just love these colors! They’re so bright and cherry!

This card came about because of another team challenge. I just love these team challenges that my team leader comes up with! They are so inspiring. This is the sketch challenge she shared with us ...
I had a scrap of rainbow glimmer paper and decided to use it. I cut 3/4" strip and chose coordinating colors to go with it ... Magenta Madness and Mango Melody. I decided to add black as the outline and cut the pieces with the punch ...

After deciding on the colors to use, I grabbed my packet of Brights DSP and chose the patterned Mango Melody. For the card base, I chose Magenta Madness, and used Basic Black for the layer ...

And that's it for card number 18! I hope that you're enjoying the cards that I'm sharing each day. Feel free to leave a comment or contact me with questions.
Thanks for stopping by!

30 Days of Thanks - Day 17

Here's card number 17 for this challenge ...

I've made a card like this in the past, and I absolutely love this design! I'll post a link to a step by step post I made at the end of this post. For this card, I was inspired by my teams weekly color challenge. I started by cutting circles with the Layering Circles dies ...

I glued them on top of each other, then cut them in half. You use half of each circle, so you can make 2 cards ...

I chose the coordinating Regals DSP as a background, and attached a piece of foam adhesive across the center ...

I aligned each of the half circles above and below the foam adhesive and attached them, lining up the circles ...

A stamped the sentiments with Blackberry Bliss ink onto the small circle die, and a strip of Basic White cardstock. I adhered them onto the foam adhesive, adding a couple of dimensionals to the back of the circle for added support ...

I attached it to a Blackberry Bliss card base and it was complete! Here are all of the supplies that I used for this card ...

If you'd like to see the step by step instructions I made, just click HERE

30 Days of Thanks - Day 16

Here’s card number 16 …

This one was fun to put together! I am loving this color combination … Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink. I stamped the images using the same color ink and Cardstock - Petal Pink ink on Petal Pink Cardstock, etc. then used the dies to cut them out …

I stamped and cut a bunch, deciding as I went along which ones to use. I positioned them and used the cut sentiment for alignment …

Once I decided where an image went, I attached it to the Basic White card front layer …

Once everything was attached, I added dimensionals to the sentiment and attached …

I adhered it to a Misty Moonlight card base and it was complete! …

I have so many more ideas coming! I hope you're following along. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!!

30 Days of Thanks - Day 15

Day 15 and I’m halfway through the challenge!! This has really been an inspiring project. I have been loving coming up with designs and ideas for cards. I have so many ideas and I can’t wait to get them all made!

So here’s a super easy card - you should know by now that quick and easy are my favorite kind lol.

I just received the die set Basic Borders and knew I wanted to use it. It has some really great border designs! I chose the curved border for this card, and used it on the edge of the card base of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock. Then I used it on the edge of Blushing Bride Cardstock, and trimmed it o fit the card front. Using Flirty Flamingo ink, I repeatedly stamped the ‘Thank You’ from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set, then attached it  …

Quick and easy, right?

30 Days of Thanks - Day 14

Hello, crafters!!

Here's the next card for the #30DaysOfThanks challenge! I just LOVE this card! …

I'll be completely honest here, I seen a similar design using flower dies and knew I had to create this! I am loving this bright color combination. I used the colors Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight. Adding them to Basic Black really makes them pop!
After I cut the butterflies, I added them to the Basic Black cardstock by using a sponge to dab on a light layer of the liquid glue. I found that this was the easiest and least messy way to attach them. After adhering them, I just trimmed off the parts that hung over the cardstock ...

I used the sentiment from the stamp set Timeless Tropical (I just love that little stamp!) Then I punched it out using the Double Oval Punch.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you're following along with this challenge. If you're making cards, I'd love to see them! Feel free to share on my Facebook page (link above).

30 Days of Thanks - Card 13

 #30DaysOfThanks Card number 13 …

I really love the background stamp Dry Brush. But for this card, I wanted a smaller version. So using the stitched Rectangles dies, I cut out a rectangle to use as a mask. I place the 'mask' over my card front layer and stamped with Pacific Point ink. It turned out a little darker than I wanted, so I flipped my paper over. I aligned the cut rectangle and stamped off onto scrap paper first, then stamped over the rectangle. This gave a lighter shade of Pacific Point, which I liked much better.

Then I stamped the palm trees in Basic Gray over it …

I decided to trim it a bit to add a layer of Basic Gray cardstock as a border, then onto the Pacific Point card base. I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White, cut it out then attached it to Basic Gray.

Thank you so much for stopping by! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!
