One of the best things about being a Color Street Stylist is how simple it is to stay active - no pressure, no stress, just sparkle at your own pace! In fact, I'm celebrating my 5 year anniversary this month! I'm my own best customer 🤣

New Stylists start off with a generous 12-month grace period, beginning from your enrollment month plus 11 additional months, during which you’re not subject to deactivation due to inactivity. That means you have a full year to learn, grow, and share without any worries.

After that first year, Color Street’s 6-month inactivity rule applies. To maintain an active stylist status, you’ll need to generate greater than 1 PV (Personal Volume) within any six consecutive months.

If no activity occurs for six straight months, your stylist account will be deactivated - but it’s easy to prevent that by simply placing a small personal order or helping a friend discover their new favorite nail set.

It’s a flexible system designed to fit your lifestyle - whether you’re casually sharing your nail love or building your sparkle empire, staying active is totally doable!

Let me spill the glitter here. Ten years ago, I joined Stampin’ Up! with zero intention of doing anything beyond grabbing that amazing starter kit deal. In the demo world, we call that a “kit napper.” You sign up, snag the goodies, and that’s it.

FAQs About Becoming a Demonstrator

👉Do I have to sell to other people?
Nope! Many demonstrators join just for the discount. You can meet your quarterly minimum with only your own purchases if you want.
👉What happens if I don’t meet the $300 requirement?
No stress - first you'll go into 'pending' status where you have 1 more month to 'catch up' and meet the quota, then you’ll simply drop back to being a customer. You get to keep everything you’ve purchased, no strings attached.
👉Do I need to carry inventory or host parties?
Absolutely not! Some demonstrators love hosting events, but it’s not required. You get to run your Stampin’ Up! journey your way.
👉Can I rejoin later if I drop?
Yes! If life gets busy and you step away, you’re always welcome back when the timing is right.
👉Is there any catch?
The only “catch” is figuring out what you want in your starter kit - because trust me, narrowing it down is the hardest part! I was definitely in the "I want it all!" group 😉 Below, you'll see some examples of 'starter kits' I created to give you some ideas of what you can get.

Starter Kit Ideas:

Once you click 'join', sign the demonstrator agreement and enter your personal information, you'll be directed to place an order for your 'starter kit'. This is the fun part! Depending on the join option you choose, you can start adding products to your cart that adds up to the total (either $125 or $189) without going over that amount. I've compiled a few ideas for a starter kit ...

If you want just paper, here you can order Designer Series (pattern) Paper in each of the color groups, cardstock in each of the color groups and Basic White cardstock. Order total would be $124.50

If you want just stamp sets, you can order these (or equivalent) and your total will be $123

Want a variety to get started? You can order 1 color group of cardstock, DSP and ink. Then add some adhesive, Basic White cardstock, and a couple of stamp sets and you are ready to create right out of the box!

If you have a hard time choosing products, kits are a great option! There are a variety of kits with different themes that come with everything you'll need to create amazing projects. 

As I said, you can choose ANY products you'd like, as long as the total is equal or less than the option you choose.
