I really love the background stamp Dry Brush. But for this card, I wanted a smaller version. So using the stitched Rectangles dies, I cut out a rectangle to use as a mask. I place the 'mask' over my card front layer and stamped with Pacific Point ink. It turned out a little darker than I wanted, so I flipped my paper over. I aligned the cut rectangle and stamped off onto scrap paper first, then stamped over the rectangle. This gave a lighter shade of Pacific Point, which I liked much better.

Then I stamped the palm trees in Basic Gray over it …

I decided to trim it a bit to add a layer of Basic Gray cardstock as a border, then onto the Pacific Point card base. I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White, cut it out then attached it to Basic Gray.
